Vintage on the road! That's how I thought of my friend and I on our book tour around southern New Mexico where I was in conversation with twenty rockin' readers at the Mad Coffee and Bagel Shop in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Victory and I were welcomed with enthusiasm by the manager of the Tularosa Basin Historical Society Museum, librarians in Corona, Capitan, Carrizozo, and Alamogordo, and an official at Western State University in Silver City. I call our tour vintage because, with an average age of eight decades, I can.
